Joyful Wedding Bells and Sad Goodbyes

December 10th, 2009 by willandesther

It was a happy occasion, a solemn gathering, a momentous day in our dad and Daryl’s life… November 27th, 2009. We as siblings were blessed to witness and stand with our parents on this day of holy matrimony. Once again we extend our congratulations to Daddy and Daryl.

Following their honeymoon in VA, they returned to Pennsylvania for Daddy’s final service as pastor of the Friendly Holiness Church. The last service was on December 6th, 2009. It was a special day, though full of many emotions. Sad farewells are never easy, but are a reminder that Heaven awaits us! In the service, a  plaque was given from the church commemorating his 20 years of dedicated  service and ministry with the congregation in Helfenstein. At the fellowship dinner that afternoon, each family had opportunity to sign their names on the matting.

Below is a gallery capturing some of the highlights from both occasions.

I am glad we were able to be part of your dad and Daryl’s special day. It was a beautiful wedding. I know someone taped it, will it be on any link on the internet for those were unable to be there to see? Like Rose’s wedding was at HObe Sound?
When will the newlyweds be heading off to Florida or did they already?
