Merry Christmas to all

Our hearts have marveled in new ways this Christmas as we’ve pondered the meaning of Christ taking on human flesh, leaving the splendor of Heaven and stepping into this broken world with the message of “God with us!” We were challenged this week with this thought: “Some of the holiday glitter has already worn off since Christmas day, and in a week the tree and most of the other decorations will be gone. It will be business as usual again very soon. How will your life during the coming year be different because of the celebration of Christ’s birth this year?”

Our wish for you as is the prayer for ourselves, is that you’ll live in the joy of Christ’s living, victorious presence long after the Christmas celebrations have passed. In that sense, Christmas will remain with us for another 364 days—and forever! Oh, and if you’re in the area, please stop in for a cup of tea and some fellowship!
