And It Snowed!
It came steadily and beautifully for hours! We felt compelled to get out in it with each other and our camera. Low and behold, what did we find on our stroll through town?

Capturing these curves and lines was a fun challenge for both of us; we had to look beyond perceived reality for the “unseen.”
It seems that life, as God wills it, is that way more often than not. The pictures showing up in God’s photograph book of our lives can seem so random, so hard to make sense of, till He opens our eyes to see the meaning behind it all.
Any passer-by would have laughed or raised an eyebrow if they had seen us bent low on the ground, snapping pictures of park bench railings or aiming awkwardly at a power line. “What ARE they doing?” I find myself asking that question of God’s work in the lives of those I love or in my own, having to remind myself that, unlike us in our little quest today, God sets out knowing exactly what He is writing in our lives. His Word spells “LOVE”, though often our eyes just can’t make sense of what we’re seeing in real life.
Paul addressed this in the way he prayed for the Ephesians: “…That the eyes of your heart would be flooded with light so you can…understand…hope…” Ephesians 1:18 .
Happy Valentine’s Day, everybody! May your heart have refreshed eyes, flooded with God’s light, to see His signs of love everywhere!
