The Dedication Service of Little Charles William
July 4th holds so many precious memories for both of us. Now it includes another precious memory, our son’s (Charles William) baby dedication. This year July 4th fell on the first day of Beulah Camp. We had the privilege of having Pappaw Hobbs and Gramma D in PA during this time, and they, along with Esther’s brother, Daniel, and his family, were able to attend along with William’s family. We desire that Charles’ life be one lived in wholly dedication to Jesus Christ and His purposes on this earth. As his parents, we continue to give ourselves anew to this endeavor, knowing with certainty that while we have been given a Heavenly obligation to nurture and train our little guy, at the same time, we have the assurance of the Holy Spirit’s enabling to carry out this obligation. What a privilege to join God in establishing an incubator for the Gospel!
The dedication service was a precious time of meeting with God, family and church family. This collage captures a portion of that time.
Below is a video presentation that we played during the service.
The words of the song really captured our hearts and reflexs what we feel about Charles. Here are the words of the chorus:
May you grow up to serve Him all of your days
May He lead you and guide you in all of your ways
May He bless your future with friendships that last
May you cherish your youth and not grow up too fast

The Dedication was very meaningful and sure expressed your desire for baby Charles’ life. I’m so glad I could be there. Charles is such a dear, and I might add…is growing cuter by the moment.
I couldn’t be happier for both of you. I’m blessed by your beautiful love for Charles.
With love to the three of you,
Jules

Awww, what a sweet video!
And that’s a beautiful song…I can’t remember where I heard it this summer. Wish I could see Charles while he’s still a baby.
Blessings!
