Engagement

How does one express the joy of knowing God is fulfilling His Word in full color? This day was unlike any either of us have ever experienced before. A 2-hour bike trek together, followed by a breathtaking view and equally breathtaking question! "The blessing of the Lord makes rich!"

Knoebel Park Visit

Ah...to ride the same rides beside one another at our local amusement park, a place where we've visited in recent years with other friends! This holds very special memories, especially because we enjoyed the company of a group of Alaskan's on this trip to Knoebel's.

Our First Evening Together

Miniature golf

The last Saturday of Beulah Camp, a group of young people enjoyed making some memories together through mini golf. This was a fun and memorable "first" for us as well.

The blessed days of Beulah Camp. This setting, our church's family camp, was the first week of our courtship together. Esther and her siblings were the singers. After 19 of wonderful family camps together as friends, this was definitely off the charts as couple!

Yellow Bus Adventure 08

This was the 8th year for our overnight vacation bible school. We both experienced a tremendous sense of the largeness of God in this year's event, both in the theme "Going for the Gold!", and in the places God was bringing our hearts to toward one another. Team-teaching together has been a highlight!

Meal Time

One evening following camp, Esther fixed her first dinner for William, including one of his personal favorites: Chicken Monterey! How memorable were the preparations in that the main ingredient for the desired chicken entree was no where to be found in local stores! Danelle, our dear friend, who was visiting at that time, came to the rescue and created the missing ingredient from scratch! Thanks Danelle! ;)
